Youth Work Awards

Each year, UnifiedErie holds the Youth Work Awards to celebrate and honor youth workers at Erie County, Pennsylvania non-profits organizations. It is a true honor to host a celebration for such a deserving group of professionals that often times receives little or no recognition. 

Only paid staff members (full-time or part-time) currently working at an Erie County, Pennsylvania non-profit organizations. Volunteers are not eligible. Teachers are only eligible for nomination for their paid involvement in extracurricular activities and programs and non-profit daycare providers.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR NOMINATION?

Anyone can nominate a youth worker - youth, parent of youth, supervisor, co-worker, and community members! You can only submit ONE nomination per year.

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY NOMINATION?

We are allowing the use of video  to replace the traditional nomination form. You are still required to complete the online submission form that identifies your nominee and allows you to upload your video.

VIDEO SUBMISSION OPTION

Submissions are reviewed for completeness and eligible nominees are contacted on or before October 1, 2020. The Nomination Review Committee uses a set of guidelines to determine the yearly award winners. The committee is looking for nominations that give specific examples, are heartfelt, and express how the youth worker has had a significant impact on the lives of youth.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I SUBMIT NOMINATION?

All nominations are due by:

NOMINATION DEADLINE

Registration will be open to the public in September 2020. You must register online to attend the Youth Work Awards. If you submit a nomination form, you will be notified when registration opens.
